LAHORE, Sep 29 (NNI): Punjab Information and Broadcasting Minister Azma Bukhari has said that Punjab government has expressed grief and sorrow with the families of innocent Punjabi labourers who were targeted in Balochistan by the miscreants.
Addressing a press conference in DGPR office on Sunday, Azma Bukhari has questioned to Sarfraz Bugti’s government in Blochistan to curb new wave of terrorism against Punjabi labourers as Punjab always treated Baloch brothers with respect. She made it clear that the blood of Punjabis was not cheap. He urged the Balochistan CM to arrest the culprits involved in attacks on labourers.
Talking about PTI protest call in Rawalpindi, Azma Bukhari said that PTI leadership were missing during Liaquat Bagh protest call and only workers were left at the mercy of Punjab police.
She said KP Chief Minister Gandapur was spreading terrorism in the country, adding that more than 25 policemen were injured by Gandapur’s supporters.
She said Gandapur and his armed supporters visited on Nawaz Sharif’s motorway for seven hours but they were unable to reach Pindi. Before the protests, MNA Asad Qaiser went to London while Qasim Suri was trying to bring revolution from X (Twitter).
She made it clear to PTI that Punjab has a vibrant CM who wanted to promote rule of law. CM Punjab knows how to serve the nation. Azma said KP was becoming hideout of terrorists and Gandapur should focus on it.
Information Minister said, “Our Chief Minister is holding eight meetings, how many meetings do you hold? Gandapur in KP is seen as a failure rather government resources are being set on fire, if there is a Chief Minister like Maryam Nawaz, the conditions of the people of KP can be changed”.
Azma said, “KP Secretariat has increased its budget by 69 crores while overall KP debt has increased by 1 billion rupees. 543 schools are inactive in KP while in Punjab school children are being given free meal in Punjab”. She said this is Fitna party, these people are jealous from the development in Punjab. She said PTI people conspire to destroy the count. NNI
