LAHORE, Nov 09 (NNI): Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of bribing people to attend Swabi public rally being organised by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The Punjab information minister said in statement that the Punjab government had no issue with the KP government either they pay Rs1,000 or Rs5,000 to people to attend the PTI’s rally in Swabi.
“The KP government will bring public servants in the rally where attendance will be marked. The funds given by the federal government for welfare of Pukhtuns are being spent on protests and rallies,” she added.
She claimed that the PTI was lodging its protests for the release of former premier Imran Khan, adding that they were desperate to be enslaved by US president-elect Donald J. Trump. NN
