ISLAMABAD, Apr 30 (NNI): The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has revealed that around 240 million people have been counted so far across the country in the ongoing 7th Population and Housing Census.
According to the PBS spokesperson Muhammad Sarwar Gonadal that 239,017,494 people have been reckoned so far in the digital census.
The data revealed that there are 54,858,515 people have been counted in Sindh province, 116,827,125 calculated in Punjab, 39,372,462 reckoned in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 20,094,659 people have been numbered so far in Balochistan province.
Muhammad Sarwar Gondal further disclosed that 17,8 19,110 people have been registered in Karachi while 11,770,764 persons have been counted in Lahore. NNI
