ISLAMABAD, Oct 11 (NNI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Wednesday challenged his indictment in the cipher case in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

The PTI chairman in his plea filed with the Islamabad High Court through his lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat, has pleaded to nullify the decision of indictment in the cipher case by a special court.

“The trial court wrote it received the copy of the case even though it did not receive the copy,” the petition maintained. “The trial court also did not wait for the verdict of the High Court against the jail hearing,” it added.

The IHC is urged to strike down the decision of indictment in the cipher case.

“The October 9 judgement of the special Official Secrets Act Court should be annulled,” it pleaded. NNI
