ISLAMABAD Oct 6 (NNI): A Kyrgyz Embassy delegation led by Kyrgyz Ambassador to Pakistan H E Ulanbek Totuiaev on Thursday met Adviser to Prime Minister for Political, Public Affairs and National Heritage & Culture Amir Muqam and discussed matters pertaining to bilateral interests.
Welcoming the delegation, Adviser to Prime Minister said Pakistan looked forward to taking its ties with the Kyrgyz Republic to the next level, an official statement said.
Secretary National Heritage and Culture Fareena Mazhar, Senior Joint Secretary for NC&C Abdul Sattar Khokhar and other senior officials were also present on occasion.
During meeting, the matters of joint collaborative activities, celebration of Central Asian common cultural aspects and signing of new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for promotion of arts and culture were discussed.
Adviser to Prime Minister Engr Amir Muqam said there was immense potential to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields including culture and heritage.
Engr Amir Muqam said that Pakistan and Kyrgyz Republic should take advantage of the opportunity at hand and ensure maximum cooperation.
They also discussed to exchange expertise in the field of literature and cultural heritage by translating literature both the countries in Urdu and Kyrgyz language.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador of Kirgizstan said strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan reflected that both nations were ready to build the next decades of future cooperation.

He emphasized establishing stronger trade ties, enhancing cultural exchanges and mutual collaboration in the cultural and literature fields between both countries. NNI
