KARACHI, Mar 10 (NNI): The price of gold witnessed a drop again after the Pakistani rupee’s effort to be strong against the US dollar in the local market on Friday.
The price of 24-karat of pure gold declined by Rs200 per tola to reach Rs1,97,500 per tola in the Pakistani yellow metal bazaar.
The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) shows the price of 10 grams of 24 Karats gold dropped by Rs172 to settle at Rs1,69,324 per 10 grams.
The price of 10 grams gold of 22 karats also decreased and traded at Rs1,55,214 in the local market. In the international market, the commodity price increased by $15 to reach $1,834 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged and traded at Rs2,120 per tola and the price of 10 grams of silver of 24 karats at Rs1817.55. NNI
