ISLAMABAD, Jun 26 (NNI): Three people, two children and their mother, died when roof of their house caved in due to heavy rain at Shahzad Town of Islamabad on Monday.
According to sources in the police, one of the deceased children was 11-month-old while the other 11-year-old.
They further said that police reached site of the incident and shifted the bodies to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
Two little kids drowned in Kank area of Khuzdar when they fell into a stream, which was spilling over due to heavy rain.
Family members of the deceased blocked the road in protest. They said that they had already protested against the construction of a dam near a human settlement. But still the authorities paid no heed to their concern and went ahead with its construction. NNI
