ISLAMABAD, Jul 21 (NNI): Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry Friday said, “I do not see elections happening”.

While talking to the media in the district and sessions courts in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry ditched a question put to him by a journalist about the confessional statement of former principal secretary to the Prime Minister Azam Khan, saying: “There is a Test match going on between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.”

Another journalist asked: “Will you participate in elections?”

Fawad Chaudhry replied: “I will participate in elections. [But] I do not see elections happening. When elections were not held within 90 days in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), they can do now whatever they want.”

He added: “I have no role in Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP). No politics is happening.” NNI
