KARACHI, Jul 26 (NNI): Unknown persons on Wednesday opened fire on the car of PTI MPA Aslam Abro’s brother in the Defence Phase 7 area of Karachi, killing him and another person and injuring two more.
According to SSP South, unknown assailants riding a motorcycle came across the car of MPA Abro’s brother Akram Abro near Ayesha Mosque in Defence area and sprayed it with bullets. As a result, Akram Abro and another person Shehryar Alam died while two other car riders sustained injuries.
MPA Abro’s brother, his nephew and two other people were riding in the car.
The bullets were fired from three sides. There were 30 bullet holes on the car. The assailants used Nine MM and 222 rifles during the attack.
The 68-year-old Akram Abro was a lawyer and a member of Sindh Bar Council. He hailed from District Jacobabad in Sindh. NNI
