ISLAMABAD, (NNI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has predicted that Mian Nawaz Sharif will be the next prime minister of the country.
Addressing a public rally in Kasur, he said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will come back soon and will change the destiny of the country.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo, three-time former prime minister, has been living in London since 2019 in self-imposed exile.
The PM said that the foundation stone worth Rs 263 billion of development projects has been laid today for the masses. A revolution will come in the country from these development projects, he vowed.
A large number of people were present at the rally.
Carrying flags inscribed with PML-N’s favoring slogans, the activists were raising slogans, “sher aik bar phar”.
Prime Minister also expressed regret over the Nawabshah train accident. The incident claimed 34 lives and injured over 80 passengers.
He said after seeing the rally in Kasur, the exhaustion of 16 months disappeared. NNI
