ISLAMABAD, Feb 13 (NNI): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has restrained the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from harassing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan.
The IHC on Tuesday ordered “If there is any complaint or inquiry in FIA, its report should be provided to Aleema Khan”.
The FIA should not take any disciplinary action against Aleema Khan, the court further directed. IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq conducted the hearing of the case.
The FIA does not have any material that is basis for cybercrime, Aleema Khan’s lawyer Shiraz Ranjha told the court.
The lawyer requested the court that the ongoing inquiry or complaint against Aleema Khan should be dismissed.
First, we call for a report and see if it is an inquiry or just a complaint, Chief Justice remarked.
Chief Justice ordered FIA to provide details of inquiry or complaint against Aleema Khan today.
