RAWALPINDI, Sep 27 (NNI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has said that Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Issa was aimed at crushing PTI, adding that the CJP first gave protection to the fraud elections and later taken away seats from PTI, Qazi is crushing PTI for seeking extension from the government.
Talking to journalists in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, Imran Khan said that three umpires and three players along with PDM government wanted to eliminate PTI as their interests are interlinked. He said apex court has never questioned the process of intra-party elections in PML-N and PPP while PTI elections were declared null and void three times.
The former PM said, “The Chief Election Commissioner knows that the day the election fraud is discovered, Article 6 will apply on him. The Chief Election Commissioner and the Chief Justice have joined hands against PTI and both are interested in extensions.
Imran Khan said the Chief Justice does not want to discuss the abduction of the Commissioner Rawalpindi. He questioned in which country commissioner is kidnapped? He said CJP made the Election Commission as umpire instead of Election tribunals so that two-thirds majority could be given to the government.
PTI founder said the CJP was now working on 63A to legitimize floor crossings for his extension. He claimed no Chief Justice of the world has done what the Chief Justice of Pakistan was doing. Imran Khan said, “I don’t think he is mentally fit if the Chief Justice is doing such actions.”
Imran Khan said, “the third umpire also wanted extention therefore he was supporting PDM”. The former PM said they need each other to stay in power. For their power, they are destroying the rule of law and the system of democracy in the country.
PTI founder said, “If the country is destroyed, they don’t care, all their property and money is out. The nation is begging for every dollar”.
“Morality is being killed in the country, institutions have been destroyed”. He said PTI will stage protests at Islamabad and Minar Pakistan in Lahore. Imran Khan said, “Citizens and nation will have to come out of their homes for Pakistan now. I ask the nation and the youth to come out for their country”. NNI
