LAHORE, Oct 07 (NNI): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi conducted a late-night inspection of the ongoing upgradation works at the Lahore Qadhafi Stadium.
Naqvi reviewed the project’s progress to prepare the stadium for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
Expressing satisfaction with the pace of work, Naqvi toured key stadium areas, including the basement and internal sections, observing the enhancements being made. He also examined the work being carried out in the stadium’s enclosures and provided specific instructions to the officials in charge.
“We are committed to completing the Gaddafi Stadium upgradation project on time, ensuring that the stadium is fully prepared before the Champions Trophy,” Naqvi stated confidently during the visit.
The visit was attended by the project director from the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), who briefed Naqvi on the advancements made so far.
Officials from the PCB, including the Director of Infrastructure, Senior General Manager, and representatives from both the FWO and National Logistics Cell (NLC), were also present at the site.
Naqvi emphasized the importance of meeting deadlines and ensuring that all work is completed to international standards. NNI
