KARACHI, Oct 13 (NNI): A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight, PK-144, en route from Al Ain to Islamabad, made an emergency landing in Karachi after a technical fault was detected on Sunday.

Aviation sources revealed that the Airbus A320 encountered a hydraulic system malfunction near Quetta, causing the aircraft to rapidly lose altitude.

The crew managed to bring the plane down safely at Karachi Airport, averting any potential disaster.

All passengers were promptly transferred to the airport lounge, and a thorough inspection of the aircraft is currently underway. NNI
