TAUNSA SHARIF, Nov 22 (NNI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Friday that the allegations against brotherly country Saudi Arabia are unacceptable.
Expressing his thoughts in Taunsa, PM Shehbaz said, “The masses will not tolerate anybody who looks to strain the ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Saudi Arabia has always extended all-out support to Pakistan.
He acknowledged KSA’s unconditional support for Pakistan, saying, “The Kingdom had never asked for any demand in return.”
Speaking about the Saudi crown prince, PM Shehbaz said, “Mohammad Bin Salman asked me to roll out projects as we are looking forward to them.” “Instead of having good sentiments for Saudi Arabia, the controversial statement had been made,” he said.
The premier resolved to ensure the national integration at any cost.
Recalling the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) bailout package, PM Shehbaz said, “Saudi Arabia had bailed out Pakistan in connection with securing a deal with the international lender.” “It was Saudi Arabia that provided Pakistan with free oil when the sanctions were imposed on Pakistan following the nuclear blasts,” he said.
The prime minister took an indirect jibe at former first lady Bushra Bibi, saying, “All the limits had been crossed yesterday by showing enmity towards Saudi Arabia yesterday by penning a statement.”
“Saudi Arabia has never asked for a favor from Pakistan in the past 77 years. It was Shah Abdullah, who held Nawaz Sharif’s hands and said, You are my brother,” he stated. He continued to lavish his praise on Saudi Arabia, saying, “The KSA is the great ally of Pakistan.”
Talking about the situation in Balochistan, PM Shehbaz said, “The solarization project has been started for Balochistan tube wells. He commended the efforts made by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, saying, “It is due to the efforts of the Balochistan chief minister that the meritocracy prevails again in the province.”
Recalling the flash floods that occurred back in 2022, PM Shehbaz said, “The Kacchi canal has been damaged due to the unprecedented floods.” “The credit goes to Nawaz Sharif for spearheading the Kaachi Canal project,” he said.
He said, “During the regime of Pervez Musharraf, the project was harmed to a great extent.” NNI
