ISLAMABAD, Dec 20 (NNI): The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued victory notification of PPP MPA Mir Ali Hassan Zehri from PB 21 Balochistan on Friday.
The Election Commission issued the notification of the successful candidate after the recounting in PB 21. ECP approved the request for recount on Friday (today). Earlier Election Commission in its decision had ordered recounting in the constituency.
While member Punjab had suggested re-poll at 39 polling stations instead of recounting. The Chief Election Commissioner had decided to recount at 39 polling stations.
Three members of the Election Commission gave a majority decision to restore the March 26 recount. NNI
