PESHAWAR: After an 18-year delay, the long-anticipated Safe City Project has finally commenced in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Inspector General KP Zulfiqar Hameed announced that the project is expected to be completed within six months, with technical assistance from Punjab.
He highlighted that the initiative will greatly boost the province’s capacity to tackle terrorism and crime.
The Safe City Project is designed to enhance surveillance systems and improve public safety infrastructure throughout the city.
