DOHA, Dec 03 (NNI): Pakistan-Qatar IT Conference has kicked off in JW Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, Qatar with significant participation from Pakistani IT companies as well as local Qatari businesses.

Caretaker Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Dr. Umar Saif inaugurated the event.
While addressing the Pakistan-Qatar IT Conference, Dr. Umar Saif introduced Pakistan IT capability to businesses and government executives in Qatar. This is the first ever visit of an IT delegation from Pakistan to Qatar to explore the huge untapped potential in the region to increase Pakistan’s IT exports.

Earlier, the visit of Pakistani delegation to Qatar led by Dr. Umar Saif, the Caretaker Federal Minister for IT, kicked off with an event at the Pakistan embassy. The event was attended by Pakistani diaspora in Qatar alongside 30 top IT companies from Pakistan.

The event was jointly organised by the Pakistani Embassy, Pakistan Software Houses Association and the Pakistan Business council of Qatar. NNI
