ISLAMABAD, July 04 (NNI): Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said any kind of operation or activity within Pakistan is a sovereign decision of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s decision to conduct an operation against terrorists on its soil is its own.
The spokesperson said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was on an official visit to Astana to participate in the SCO meeting today.
“Prime Minister will also meet the members in the SCO. Yesterday Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also met with various leaders in Astana,” the spokesman said.
Commenting on the AfPak relations, Mumtaz Baloch said Pakistan and Afghanistan are in touch with each other on matters of mutual concern and mutual concerns were also informed in Doha talks.
There are multiple channels of communication between Pakistan and the US, the spokesman said, adding that, “We keep in touch with each other on various matters.”
