ISLAMABAD (NNI): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has formed a new prosecution team for the ongoing Toshakhana cases against the founder of Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Two special prosecutors, Barrister Umair Majeed Malik and Barrister Rafi Maqsood, have been appointed to represent NAB in the IHC in the Toshakhana cases.

The acting prosecutor general of NAB, Akbar Tarar, recommended the appointments, which were approved by the chairman of NAB.

After the approval on Tuesday, the NAB headquarters issued a notification for the appointment of both prosecutors. NNI
