ISLAMABAD: The High Commission of Malaysia in Pakistan celebrated its 67th National Day with a grand ceremony in Islamabad.

As per news report, The event was honored by Pakistan’s Commerce Minister, Jam Kamal Khan, who attended as the chief guest and highlighted the strengthening bilateral relationship between the two nations.

In his address, Minister Kamal extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations from the people and government of Pakistan to the Malaysian nation. He commended Malaysia’s impressive journey from independence in 1957 to its current status as a symbol of economic success and cultural harmony in Southeast Asia.

The Minister praised Malaysia’s extraordinary achievements in economic growth, cultural integration, and international diplomacy, as well as advancements in education, technology, and infrastructure.

The ceremony also featured remarks from Malaysia’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, who reflected on Malaysia’s transformative journey over the past 67 years.

He described the country’s independence as a struggle for a strong federation and a modern state, emphasizing that the day represents not just a celebration but a testament to the resolve and unity that have fortified Malaysia.
