KARACHI, Sep 09 (NNI): Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the national flag carrier of Pakistan, has entered into a strategic partnership with Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM), the country’s premier travel and hospitality expo. This collaboration aims to promote Pakistan as a top tourist destination and facilitate seamless travel experiences for visitors attending the upcoming PTM event.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat, CEO of PIA, and Mr. Ali Hamdani, CEO of PTM, in a ceremony held in Islamabad. The event was graced by the presence of prominent figures from the tourism industry, including Mr. Rana Aftab, MD of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation, Mr. Ali Ibrahim, Vice President of Marketing & Communications of Hashoo Group, Mr. Masud Khan, Consul General of Lithuania, and representatives from the Saudi Tourism Authority.

As the launch partner of PTM, which is scheduled to take place from January 31 to February 2, 2025, PIA will offer exclusive benefits to delegates and visitors. The airline will establish dedicated check-in counters at the airport to ensure a smooth and efficient travel experience for those attending the expo. PIA will also provide comprehensive support to facilitate travel within Pakistan, making it easier for tourists to explore the country’s diverse attractions.

The partnership between PIA and PTM marks a significant step towards boosting Pakistan’s tourism industry. By combining their strengths, the two organizations aim to attract a larger number of international visitors and showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality.
