ISLAMABAD, May 07 (NNI): The Islamabad capital police announce awards and commendation letters for the officers and officials who have performed outstandingly in various areas, including security, recruitment, crime control and drugs, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, the announcement was made by Federal Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah Khan and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, who felicitated the officers and officials for their excellent duties.
CPO Security Hassan Raza Khan and SSP Security Masood Bangash will be recognized for providing excellent security during the New Zealand cricket team’s visit to Rawalpindi and Islamabad. CPO Headquarters Awais Ahmed Malik will be honoured for maintaining merit and transparency during recruitment to vacant posts in Islamabad capital police.
CPO Operations Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari and SSP Operations Malik will receive commendation letters for ensuring the protection of life and property of citizens and handling the law and order situation across the federal capital in the best way possible.
CPO Safe City Muhammad Shoaib Khurram and SSP Safe City Shehzada Umar Abbas will also be acknowledged for their contributions.
DPO Saddar Nowsherwan Ali and DPO City Farooq Buttar will be felicitated for the crackdown on drug peddlers in the federal capital Islamabad.
IGP Islamabad said that Islamabad capital police used all resources during the New Zealand cricket team’s visit and other important events, due to which no untoward incident of any kind took place. He further stated that no elements would be allowed to disturb the peace of the citizens. NNI
