ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (NNI): Justice Yahya Afridi of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has met with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa to play his role in resolving differences between the apex court judges.

Quoting its sources, the channel reported that the CJP agreed with the proposals put forward by Justice Afridi to make the relationship between the judges harmonious and assured him of his complete support in this regard.

Differences between the SC judges on constitutional matters have been making headlines for the last several months.

There are two groups of like-minded judges whose views on different matters are quite opposite to each other.

It is worth-mentioning here that a few days ago, both Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Muneeb Akhtar had refused to become part of the bench constituted to hear the review petition filed in the case of article 63-A of the constitution, prompting the chief justice to find their replacements.
