LAHORE, Feb 17 (NNI): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has vowed to highlight Punjab’s scenic beauty on the global stage.

In her message on Global Tourism Resilience Day, she stated that Punjab is a land of deserts, mountain ranges, lakes, and rivers, with immense tourism potential yet to be fully explored.

She emphasised that sustainable initiatives are being implemented to boost tourism, which is essential for economic growth, local culture, and international relations.

Maryam Nawaz described the Murree Glass Train Project as a game-changer for tourism, adding that the Murree Master Plan is being implemented to transform it into a world-class tourist destination.

She also highlighted that key roads are being upgraded to ensure safe and comfortable travel for visitors.

Additionally, a five-star hotel will be built in Kartarpur to promote religious tourism, and new tourist destinations will be introduced across the province.

She assured that the government has taken significant steps to enhance security measures, ensuring a safe and convenient experience for travelers.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed her commitment to making Punjab a global tourism hub through innovative and sustainable measures.  NNI
