DERA ISMAIL KHAN, May 25 (NNI): A passenger bus traveling from Darazinda to Dera Ismail Khan was attacked by terrorists near the Daraban area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to police, the terrorists forced passengers off the bus and attempted to hijack them before setting the bus on fire which destroyed the bus.
Police reported that the terrorists also assaulted the bus driver. The terrorists reportedly warned the bus owner against cooperating with the government.
The terrorists threatened the bus owner with dire consequences if he continued to support the government and speak out against the Taliban.
Following the attack, the terrorists escaped from the scene. Police have launched a search operation in the area to apprehend the perpetrators. NNI
