ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami’s protest against inflation and electricity bills continues in Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi.

Addressing the participants of the workers on Thursday night, JI chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that JI workers can easily reach D Chowk for the acceptance of their demands but JI leadership does not want to indulge in drama with police.

He urged the government to accept the demand of the public otherwise JI will start long march. He said Pakistan was paying fine to Iran over gas pipeline deal on US’ behest.

Hafiz Naeem said in Israeli aggression against Palestinians, US was behind the Zionists estate. He said Israeli was bombarding Palestinians due to the silence of Muslim estate. He urged the Muslim to stand up against Israeli.

JI chief questioned the where about of General Raheel Sharif who was protecting his own job.

He said General Musharraf sold our nationals for his interests and his regime promoted nationalism in the country.

Hafiz Naeem said Azad Kashmir was liberated not by the army but by the tribal warriors. He demanded that missing persons should be recovered. He said Army must follow rules. He said the missing persons should be produced before the courts.

Hafiz Naeem expressed anger over the influential who wanted to join JI provided they are given party tickets for the elections.
