ISLAMABAD, May 21 (NNI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will embark on a one-day visit to Iran tomorrow to participate in the national funeral prayers for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his martyred comrades, diplomatic sources confirmed.
The funeral, set to take place in Tehran, will be a national event with the participation of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei. The state and national funeral prayers are scheduled for 10 am in Tehran, according to diplomatic sources.

Additionally, the funeral prayers for Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and his comrades, who perished in a helicopter accident, were held earlier today at 9 am in Tabriz, and later in Qum after the noon prayers.
The public funeral prayers for President Raisi and his companions will continue the day after tomorrow at the Mashhad shrine, starting at 10 am. The final rites, including the burial, will take place at the Imam Ali Raza shrine in Mashhad.
